Budget 2026 Business Measures: Announcement and Implementation Tracker
A source-linked snapshot of Budget 2026 business measures, with announced implementation dates and a checklist for verifying eligibility and application status.
Last verified 25 September 2026
This tracker summarises business measures listed by Enterprise Singapore following Singapore’s FY2026 Budget. It distinguishes announced dates from application status: eligibility, claim conditions and scheme availability must be checked on each official programme page before committing expenditure.
Enterprise support is being consolidated
Enterprise Singapore says the new EDGE scheme is intended to bring the Market Readiness Assistance (MRA), Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) and Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) together, including access for non-SMEs. During the transition described on the Budget 2026 page, businesses can continue applying for EDG, MRA and PSG through the Business Grants Portal. Confirm the current application route and detailed terms before applying.
Internationalisation support
The announced MRA enhancements took effect from 1 April 2026: eligible SMEs can receive support of up to 70% through 31 March 2029, with the S$100,000 grant cap extended. Enterprise Singapore also lists an expansion for the second half of 2026, including support for deepening activities in existing overseas markets and eligibility for local non-SMEs, with support of up to 50% for eligible costs. Check the official MRA page for launch status, qualifying activities and conditions.
Financing and tax measures
From 1 April 2026, the Enterprise Financing Scheme is described as allowing facilities across the scheme up to S$50 million per borrower group, with the M&A facility expanded to domestic and overseas activities. For the Double Tax Deduction for Internationalisation, Enterprise Singapore lists expanded automatic claims for more qualifying activities from Year of Assessment 2027 and a S$400,000 cap. These are not automatic grants or guaranteed financing: lending decisions, tax rules and qualifying costs still apply.
Innovation and startup investment
Enterprise Singapore lists Champions of AI as a new programme for companies aiming to transform their businesses using AI. It also says Startup SG Equity is being expanded to growth-stage startups, with S$1 billion set aside for early- and growth-stage deep-tech investments. The Budget 2026 overview is an announcement summary; use the linked programme pages for eligibility, funding mechanics and application windows.
How to use this tracker
For each measure, record the official programme page, current application channel, eligible applicant type, supported costs, co-funding rate or cap, opening and closing dates, and whether approval is needed before spending. Save the page and date you checked it. Recheck the programme before making a purchase or relying on support.
Snapshot checked 25 September 2026. Scheme details can change, and the announced timetable does not confirm that an application is open or that a business will qualify. This is general information, not tax, financing or grant advice.
