This notice explains how we handle personal data when you visit entrepreneur.sg. We aim to comply with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

Information and purposes

The site provides public information. It has no visitor accounts, enquiry forms, newsletter signup, or advertising and analytics tags. Calculator entries are processed in your browser and are not sent to us by the tools. Search terms are included in the page URL and sent to our content system to find matching published resources. Like most websites, our hosting and delivery providers may process technical request data, such as IP address, browser details, requested pages and security events, to deliver and protect the site.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site does not intentionally set advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting or content delivery providers may use essential technologies needed to deliver, secure, or operate the site. Your browser controls can show or restrict cookies.

Disclosure and overseas processing

We use service providers to host and deliver the site and manage published content. They may process technical data on our behalf. Infrastructure providers may process data outside Singapore; where personal data is transferred overseas, we will take steps required by the PDPA to ensure comparable protection. We do not sell personal data or disclose it for another organisation’s advertising.

Retention and protection

We keep personal data only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described, legal obligations, or security and business needs, then delete or anonymise it where appropriate. Technical log retention is governed in part by our providers’ settings. We use reasonable security arrangements, while no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your requests

Subject to the PDPA and its exceptions, you may request access to or correction of personal data we hold about you, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. We may need to verify your identity and explain any applicable fee or legal limitation. Contact hello@entrepreneur.sg with “Privacy request” in the subject line.

Changes and complaints

We may update this notice as the site changes. Contact us first with a privacy concern. You may also contact Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Commission. This notice is governed by Singapore law.
